001 - SUBJECT BRIEF
A little about me.
Graphics since 2000, web and UX since 2011: the parts people actually use.
Problem solving is the hobby that happens to pay. I’m the friend who can’t hear you complain without floating three ways to fix it. Mildly annoying, I know. That being said, if I can’t solve your problem, I’ll tell you straight and point you to who can.
Photography is the other thing I care about: products, food, cocktails, candid shots. Wildlife I keep for myself, off the invoice, because mixing it with paid work is the surest way to ruin it. If you’d like to see my photos, check out my Glass Profile or follow me on Instagram.
002 - ORIGIN
How it all began.
I spent years doing graphics for all kinds of places: sign shops, ad agencies, a print shop, eventually software at ShortStack. When COVID hit in 2020, I wanted more freedom and went out on my own.
ShortStack and SendCutSend were my first clients. Verdi Local Distillery was the first who didn’t already know me. I’d found them as a customer, hunting for local whiskey, and noticed their website didn’t match how good the place felt in person. So I emailed the owner, drove out to follow up, and rebuilt the site and shot the photography. That’s when Moonshot felt real.
003 - OBJECTIVES
Who I’d like to work with.
Founders who care about what they make. Makers and independents, mostly small to mid-sized: a distillery, a knife shop, a corner restaurant. The kind of place where the person whose name is on the door is the one I’m talking to.
I’ll work with anyone who has an interesting problem, but I’m most excited about places close to home. Either way, I work with you, not for you. The good stuff happens when we work together.
