The inspiration for this drink came from a recipe shared with me by my friend’s mom. Of course, I had to spruce it up a bit to make it my own.
I was dazzled by the color of the syrup. With such a small amount of ingredients, the drink didn’t quite fill a normal-sized glass, hence the name. Now, let’s get to the recipe.
Add blueberries and mint leaves to 1 cup of water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the sugar and simmer for approximately 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature. Use a strainer to pour into your syrup container.
Shake all the ingredients with in a shaker with ice. Pour into a glass with a large ice cube, and enjoy. Don’t forget to salt the rim and garnish with blueberries and mint leaves!
